The company has relocated to a bigger premise at Nmai Djor in Accra in order to cater for increased business. The company started off by producing for exporters, however by dint of hard work it is now producing, selling to other exporters and as well as engage in exporting.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>COMPANY STRUCTURE<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Geolicrafts is established as a sole proprietorship enterprise with Mr George Akologo as the proprietor. \u00a0The proprietor used to work in the construction business. \u00a0In 2004, he gave up that job and entered the handicraft business. \u00a0The company has three divisions, namely production, Secretarial and Marketing. \u00a0The production division is composed of Drum, Basket and Mask subdivisions. \u00a0The sub-divisions work independently of each other. \u00a0Each sub-division has a group of independent artisans who work on a contract basis. \u00a0Supervision is exercised by only the sole proprietor, the Managing Director of the company. \u00a0The administration is handled by a secretary. \u00a0Marketing service is handled by the Managing Director who is assisted by a Marketing assistant.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>MISSION STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Keen commitment to become the leader of the domestic market and acquired substantial share of the export market of handicraft products and the desire to create jobs through continuous enhancement of artisanal skills that will deliver value for our customers.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Geolicraft was established in 2004 at Burman Camp area in Accra and operating as exporter buying the craft products from producers and some artisans. \u00a0The SME started with five (5) workers and has since grown to forty five (45).
